WHO WE ARE

We are a nonprofit organization that seeks to close the gender gap and marginalization of women and girls thereby exposing the contributions of a girl child in society. Aminatu is about ensuring that a girl child takes her active role in the spheres of any institution from the top of the food chain to the bottom of the food chain. Note we are not about competition between a girl child and her male counter-part however we are about the two complementing each other so as to produce utopia of a society

Vision

Empowerment of women and girls at various levels and nurture innovation and entrepreneurship through promoting inclusive leadership in a gender-sensitive society.

Objective

  • To equip women and the girl child with the skills and tools to protect themselves from all forms of abuse and discrimination through gender equality advocacy.
  • To provide psychosocial support through establishing rehabilitation services to vulnerable women and girls.
  • To facilitate access to basic education healthcare service and shelter for vulnerable women and girls.
  •  To enable the girl child and women to fully and effectively participate in leadership positions and in decision making in the political and economic sphere.
